12-Tridecenoic acid is a monounsaturated fatty acid. It is active against S. aureus (MIC = 1.17 mM).1 12-Tridecenoic acid (5, 10, and 25 mg/kg) inhibits gastric juice secretion in a rat model of gastric ulcers induced by pylorus ligation.2
